Consumer withdrawal information for ResearchCast purchases.

1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a Consumer and mandatory law grants a withdrawal right for a distance contract, you may generally withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. For ResearchCast subscriptions and credit packs, the period begins on the day the contract is concluded. Timely dispatch of a clear withdrawal declaration before the period expires is sufficient.

The period does not begin until you have received the legally required withdrawal information. If the information is missing or defective, the period may be extended under applicable law.

2. Immediate Start of a Digital Service

At checkout, you may expressly request that ResearchCast begin supplying the digital service before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. Starting the service does not by itself end the withdrawal right. If you withdraw after making that request, you may owe only the proportionate amount permitted by mandatory law for service actually supplied before withdrawal, provided we gave the required information beforehand.

For a paid service, the withdrawal right can expire before the ordinary deadline only after the service has been completely performed and all statutory requirements have been met, including the required prior express consent, confirmation of your knowledge, and contractual confirmation. Continuing subscriptions are not completely performed merely because access begins.

3. Products Covered by these Instructions

ResearchCast treats subscriptions and credit packs for future generation requests as access to a digital service. These instructions therefore apply the service rules in Section 2 to both current consumer products.

If ResearchCast later offers a separately identified one-off item of non-tangible digital content, it will provide product-specific withdrawal information and obtain any separate declarations required for that item before purchase. These instructions do not pre-emptively classify such a future product.

4. How to Withdraw

Use the highlighted “Vertrag widerrufen” function at /withdraw-contract to send and immediately download a timestamped receipt. During a withdrawal period, that function is continuously available through the ResearchCast interface. You may instead send any other clear statement to support@research-cast.com, to ResearchCast GmbH, Angerstrasse 12, 85354 Freising, Germany, or through an available Paddle buyer-support channel. No reason is required.

Please identify the account email, the purchase, and—if available—the Paddle transaction or invoice ID. A notice received by ResearchCast is effective even where we must coordinate the resulting refund with Paddle as merchant of record. We promptly confirm online submissions on a durable electronic medium.

5. Model Withdrawal Form

To ResearchCast GmbH, Angerstrasse 12, 85354 Freising, Germany, support@research-cast.com: I/we hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us for the following ResearchCast subscription, credit pack, or other product: [product]. Contract/purchase date: [date]. Account email or Paddle transaction/invoice ID: [reference]. Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address]. Date: [date].

Use of this model wording is optional. Any unambiguous declaration that you wish to withdraw is sufficient.

6. Effects of Withdrawal

If the withdrawal is valid, payments received for the withdrawn contract are returned without undue delay and no later than the deadline required by law, generally using the original payment method. Paddle may technically issue the refund. You will not be charged a refund fee.

We may stop paid access and revoke unused credits associated with the withdrawn purchase when the withdrawal takes effect. For a digital service begun at your express request, only legally permitted proportionate compensation for service supplied before withdrawal may be deducted.

Withdrawal of a purchase does not itself delete your ResearchCast account or unrelated content. Account deletion remains available separately in settings.
